| Bio: | ![]() dirac's constant is planck's constant, reduced. in not too many words, planck's constant is a physical constant that denotes the size of a quanta (an entity of energy). it's integral in quantum mechanics. planck's and dirac's constant come into play when you're talking about quantization, which is when physical properties occur in fixed amounts rather than a range of values. so that is to say, something would be represented by "x" rather than "x,y,z,a,b,c" (etc). since dirac's constant is so small, you'd only use it when you're talking about things on an atomic scale - it's a conversion factor between 'phase' and 'action'. so, as far as dirac's constant and black holes, you see this in the equation of the entropy of a black hole, the equation being: s = c^3kA/4h-bar(lols)G 's' is the entropy, 'c' is the speed of light, 'k' is boltzman's constant (dealing with temperature and energy), 'a' is the surface of the event horizon, h-bar is dirac's constant, and 'g' is the gravitational constant. i'd go on but i don't know if i'm in any position to be making attempts to explain quantum mechanics when i can barely pass geometry. hi, my name is katya-alexa. the hyphen is valid. i bike ride recreationally in a no-commitment, on the weekends sort of way. i think i've finally adjusted to the bahston area. time to go back down south. | |
